Apartment 'Alt Wien'

Fully furnished vacation apartment in Vienna for rent.

You may use this apartment as a 1 bedroom or a 2 br, depending on your needs. The living room and the bedroom have separate entrances from the central eat-in kitchen.

This is a very typical layout for Vienna - Most of the activity in the flat takes place in and around the kitchen, the hearth so to speak :)

Around the corner of the apartment you can take a stroll along the beautiful Danube. The trolley has a stop one block away from the apartment and you will be in the center of Vienna in about 15 to 20 min with public transportation (you can also the take the subway, which is a longer walk ~10 min).

The flat is in a district called Leopoldstadt. There are very distinct 'hoods' even within this district.
When you walk along Engerthstrasse towards the subway you will encounter scenes like the one above, with outdoor cafés, watching people from various cultures of the former Austro-Hungarian Empire. Make sure to have a 'Kleiner Brauner' (Espresso with half and half) or a 'Mélange' (Latte) with them!
